I was playing wth my eastsheen 4x4 yesterday and the white side seemes loose. so i tightened it wih a screwdriver and I found out that no matter how hard i try,the screw won't go in all the way.
so, I decided to take the the white top layer out and I noticed that there was a crack on the core.

First My Eastsheen 5x5 core piece broke off. now my eastshee 4x4 core has a crack in it. Any help Puzzlepoz? Crying or Very sad

EDIT: I'll send you my 4x4 and get a new one? I'll pay for shipping.

The bad thing is that my 4x4 has cubesmith tiles on it.

Edit#2:I glued the crack then re-assmebled the cube. It's still the same! the screw won't go in all the way! Puzzleproz, please respond!

Hi Vulosity,

It appears to me that the cores are breaking because maybe you are beeing too rough with the cubes?

East Sheen cubes cannot stand up to hard cornering tricks.

The core spokes will break under pressure.

I'll tell you what I can do though.

I'm going to be ordering some White East Sheen cubes in the very very near future.

I will see if I can convince East Sheen to sell me some spare 4x4 and 5x5 cores. In fact, I should get some screws too if they will sell them. OH and maybe some of those 2x2 clips that hold the cube together.

I'll make sure to keep a 4x4 and 5x5 core aside for you if you want them.

Sale price to be determined later.

Sad Dang, I want white eastsheens...

Can you give a rough estimate on how much you're gonna be selling them for? Hopefully less than cube4you right? I might consider getting a white set in the future anyway.

I wasn't being rough with the the cube. And yes, I would like you to keep a the cores aside. Also, i would like white eastsheens. Very Happy

P.S. I found out that there are two cracks on the same spoke.

Two cracks on the same spoke? Just like mine.

Seriously, of all the things to cheap out on, eastsheen picks the screws and the core D:

I think that I found out the problem.Tightening the screw very hard WILL cause the spoke to crack.

He's exactly right, if you over-tighten the screw, you risk damaging the spoke =/

They can Crack from over-tightening because there is a lot of pressure on the core. Also cheapo lube that is oil based with crack cores.

Hey, guess what?

I got another ES 4x4!

But this time it arrived broken!! Evil or Very Mad

This wasn't from Puzzleproz.

When I opened it, the red side fell apart.

The whole spoke on the red sde fell off.

Now I need 2 cores: 1 for this and one for the oter one. If you have a spare core, may I have it?

Hey PuzzleProz, I was wondering what ever happened to you maybe getting some cores? I was really really stupid today and dropped my 5x5 and a core 'arm' snapped. :\

Thanks

EDIT: Also, sorry for bumping a really old thread >_< I didn't want to start a new one just to ask you a simple question.
