Fingernails shouldn't really be an issue - mine are actually quite long and I don't have a problem with my stickers.
I think it's more likely that the stickers weren't properly applied. Even the best stickers in the world won't adhere properly if they aren't applied to a clean, dry cube. It's especially important to clean off the face of your cube prior to applying stickers if you lubed it first. I generally wipe off each face with alcohol prior to applying stickers.
Another thing to look at is whether the stickers were applied exactly square on the face of each cubie. If the stickers aren't properly aligned they will be subject to repeated stress each time you turn the face of the cube and will start to peel. |

I agree you are correct.. I have noticed that if the sticker is perfect in the middle then your fingernail will catch it.. I ruined some textured tiles that way too.. |

Well I think the pvc stickers should last for a long time...
they are kind of like electrical tape to me...
And also some of the problems could be vaseline oil getting on it...
dirty surface when applied..
you took it off and on to much...*when you get your finger on it it loseses stickyness*
and yea....I would suggest to buy some new ones for like 1.25 or somethimng like that..
and clean ur surface witha baby wipe before applying.
using the clear adhesive thing |

| Some of my stickers on my black DIY started peeling off as well as 1 of the stickers on my type D after 1 use which is kinda sad. BUT because they were just peeling a little, i used the application tape that was given to tape it down from my 2nd DIY kit. I've realized that the tape is pretty strong so it should work for a while. I did the same with my store bought cube with regular tape a while back just to make it last a bit longer hahaz. I know it may not seem appealing but it a temporary solution that's fairly cheap >.< |
