In an attempt to try to reduce the number of spambots that register accounts on this site, I am going to start implementing some rules for registration.

These rules are open for discussion and I welcome feedback.

These rules are likely to change over time, but my goal is to keep them simple.

Currently, the rules are:

* Enter "cubing" as one of your interests in the "Interests" section on your profile when you register an account.

I currently have the system configuration so that I have to manually activate your account.

If you currently have an account waiting to be verified, feel free to email me from your registered email address with a small message.

It is not my goal to prohibit people from registering for the site, but nobody wants those lame spam messages and I can't think of a better way to try to prevent them.
